About the role
The Retail Sales Admin Support will provide key assistance and support to the Retail Sales Customer Managers and Finance Business Partners across key accounts. The role will ensure key processes, documentation and data is analysed and maintained on a timely basis. The role will ensure accurate customer agreements, claims are processed in a timely manner and coordinate new product line and promotion nominations forms for our customers. The Retail Sales Admin Support will engage with our customers to provide support with ad hoc reports, maintenance of key trackers and to collaborate on any queries.
Responsibilities:
Pricing:
Prevent pricing claims by conducting Customer pricing checks to align Customer systems, McCain systems, and Forecast files with approved agreements. Resolve pricing claims efficiently, logging invalid claims on Customer Systems as needed. Support Customer Managers by preparing standard pricing approval templates for sign-off.
Claims:
Work with Commercial Finance Partners to streamline claim approval processes while maintaining proper segregation of duties. Handle logging, matching, validating, and approving customer invoices and trade spends. Escalate invalid claims to Customer Managers and assist in resolving them. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure efficiency, prevent claim backlogs, and adhere to strict guidelines.
New Line Forms:
Ensure timely submission of required documentation and product samples with Customer Managers. Build expertise in retailer systems and coordinate with Customer Departments for seamless execution.
Promotions:
Work with Customer Managers to submit promotion nominations on time. Align with internal and external teams on dates and planned volumes, ensuring close management to optimize P+L performance.
Customer Reporting:
Update internal trackers and promotion plans as defined by Customer Managers. Develop expertise in retailer systems to maximize the use of available data for customer insights.

Being in the office every single day is a thing of the past. Here at McCain, we champion hybrid working. This means we don’t have a set expectation of exactly when you need to be in the office – however we do encourage our full-time, office-based people to connect in person with others for around half of their working time as that’s the best way for us to build and maintain our connections.
Our head office (Customer Experience Centre) is on the outskirts of Scarborough – 1.5 hours away from Leeds City Centre, and about an hour from York. We have lots of colleagues who travel to and from our Experience Centre (even if it is just for a good coffee!) and because hybrid really does mean hybrid at McCain, they get the opportunity to collaborate with their colleagues when they’re in the office, and balance that with working from home to ensure they get a good life-work balance.
