Deputy manager for a Young Persons Supported Living Setting
SaferHandCare are looking for an experienced Manager to join the team.
Working with young people (16 years plus)
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Reduction in sickness and attrition
* Referrals responded to within 1 hour SLA
* Ensure compliance with GDPR
* Step change in approach and management of quality measures and continuous feedback loop
* Weekly Reporting to owners on “What went well, better if and week ahead”
* Meaningful QA completed with Registered Manager spot checks to ensure accuracy
* Supervision completed every 4-6 weeks
* Occupancy rate of 90% in all rooms or flagging to stakeholders with plans to address
This is a Temp to Perm opportunity

Working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
On call rota for out of office hours and weekends.
DBS required and cost to be covered by Client.
Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification essential
Accountabilities
* Compliance – ensuring that the service meets the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and Supported Accommodation Regulations as introduced by Ofsted. This helps maintain high quality service and ensure delivery of safe, personalised services to each individual service user. Before a provider can begin to provide a regulated activity they must apply to Ofsted for registration.
* Service Delivery – overseeing and coordination of support workers across all areas as well as ensuring good communication and links with all stakeholders. Must ensure service delivery that is people centered, accessible, flexible and reliable as well as making certain the office is resourced during work hours as well as an effective out of hours on call service.· Service Development – must ensure the growth and development of services by increasing the delivered hours as well as maximising referral and marketing opportunities.
* Team Management and Leadership – must effectively manage the staff team involved in the service provision, ensuring a coordinated and consistent approach.
* Quality Assurance – must ensure the service delivery is implemented and maintained to meet Quality Assurance policy standards.
· Own & manage the relationship with key stakeholders in the business by providing regular reports.
· Engagement of staff to reduce attrition & improve productivity to be an employer of choice, driving buy in with our Statement of Purpose
· Understand the processes of your area in great detail to be able to identify waste, working with Company Directors to deliver efficiencies without compromising on quality.
· Responsible for training and onboarding new employees
· Developing and monitoring personal development plans
· Manage Performance and Development by using regular staff supervisions and annual appraisal process in order to promote a culture of self-awareness and understanding. Working in partnership with Senior Management and outsourced Human Resources (Croner) to address and manage any issues of poor performance or misconduct.
· Manage and schedule rotas ensuring coverage; working pro-actively with peers.
· Adhere and lead from front on application of all Policies

Pay: From £15.38 per hour
