Your new opportunity Our Adult Supported Living services in North Lanarkshire area (Cumbernauld, Kilsyth, Moodiesburn and Stepps) are looking for full time & part time Support Workers to assist in the provision of individualised support to adults and/or young people, with a wide range of disabilities, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team. We deliver 24 hour care to individuals in their own home who have a wide range of support needs. As a Support Worker you will be providing support with their personal care and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives, some these include; keeping them safe, taking part in activities & interests, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing. Working pattern Early shifts (mornings), late shifts (afternoons/evenings), day shifts (9-5) & sleepover shifts. Please note we managed shifts on a rotational basis where staff work a variety of shifts to meet the needs of the people we support and will include working weekends. Sleepover shifts are paid at an hourly rate of £12.00 and can also offer extra earning potential. What you will need to bring to the role Compassion and kindness to support people in their day to day lives. Enthusiasm and self-motivation. Able to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals. Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes. Resilient, reliable and an excellent listener.
