Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will lead a Leadership Team and team of Warehouse Associates and Admin Associates ensuring delivery of world-class performance levels. Motivate and develop team members to highest possible standards enhancing skills bases, engagement, and future growth opportunities. Manage processes in alignment with NOS criteria, with a constant focus on continuous improvement and change management.
Key Responsibilities
1. To lead by example and become the role model for their team consistently demonstrating Core Values.
2. To manage and plan daily process area output in alignment with contract SLA's and KPI's, including full P&L responsibility and variable and period cost management.
3. To manage people in alignment with all company policies (specifically but not limited to attendance, performance, and Health and Safety policy) including the application of disciplinary processes.
4. To analyse and manipulate data sets to drive a culture of fact-based decision-making. Ability to formulate data and present to peers, higher Management, and clients to aid decision making and action.
5. To fully converse and be able to efficiently articulate and promote NOS and corporate initiatives, including but not limited to 6's, waste identification, Poka Yoke, RCCA's, standard work, 6 Sigma, etc.
6. To manage processes to the highest health and safety standards, promoting a safety-first and individual accountability culture within all aspects of the workplace and daily activities.
Experience and Skills
1. Experience within Aerospace is desirable.
2. Experience of managing a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment is essential.
3. Uses facts and data to inform discussions, issues, and find solutions.
4. Can confidently represent the company both internally and externally.
5. Can build effective relationships helping build trust, teamwork, and excellence.
