The purpose of the role is to increase the awareness of their brands at the point of purchase, instore and online. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: • Increase efficiency and effectiveness of retail media spend across the UK & Irish retail market • Manage retail media shopper marketing agency relationship and customer media houses network • Utilize data on to understand the impact of campaigns and activations, to allow further refinement • Line management of 1x direct reports • Engage, network and influence key omni-channel retailer contacts • Manage and monitor the shopper marketing budget, to improve ROI and accurate financial control. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in execution Further Details 1. Strategy Development: o Developing comprehensive retail media and shopper marketing strategies that align with brand goals and retail partner objectives across UK & Irish retail markets o Identifying key shopper insights and trends to inform marketing initiatives. 2. Campaign Management: o Planning and overseeing the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital ads, in-store displays, promotions, and events. o Collaborating with marketing (and graphic designer) to develop compelling marketing materials that resonate with shoppers. 3. Retail Partnership: o Building and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners / agencies to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies. o Negotiating and managing media placements within retail environments. 4. Performance Analysis: o Utilizing data analytics to measure the effectiveness of shopper marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions. o Generating reports on campaign performance, shopper behaviour, and ROI to inform future strategies. o Creating and evolving a ‘playbook’ by retailer to ensure we are always optimising spend and driving efficiency and effectiveness 5. Budget Management: o Managing budgets for retail media and shopper marketing activities. o Ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize campaign impact. 6. Team Leadership: o Developing and managing 1 direct report. o Fostering collaboration and driving a high-performance culture within the broader commercial team. 7. Innovation and Trend Analysis: o Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activities. o Continuously seeking innovative ways to enhance shopper engagement and brand presence. Salary up to £55,000 base, with a £5,000 car allowance and 15% bonus.
