Your role We’re looking for a Smart Communications Coordinator to join our Engineering team. Using Smart Communications, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and developing customer facing operational communications and system generated communications from our internal IT systems. Acting as an expert in communications, you’ll regularly partake in projects, providing insight and recommendations and developing the desired output. This role reports into our Engineering Team Leader. Your responsibilities: • Document work carried out, identifying and managing risks, following change control procedures as well as planning, testing and implementation of the change. • Manage the resolution of errors or assist with resolving larger scale issues. • Identify enhancements and understand system capabilities • Balance time/demands between projects, whilst maintaining BAU activities and fulfilling BAU requests. • Working as part of, or alongside, multiple project teams. You’ll see the wider picture of how projects impact each other and highlight crossover / issues where needed. • Act as expert in all areas of customer facing communications, with a solid understanding of internal systems. • Ensure quality of communications produced are in line with business requirements and are delivered to a high standard, on time, following best practice guidelines • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to deliver personalised, on-brand system generated correspondence, delivered in line with the Simplyhealth business strategy and departmental IT strategy, on time and to a high standard • Keep your knowledge and expertise up to date on the systems used for customer correspondence
