About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Havering. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and development, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Key Responsibilities: ✅ Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, ensuring they can access the curriculum. ✅ Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, behaviour management, and classroom activities. ✅ Support children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning needs. ✅ Encourage positive interactions and help develop children's social skills. ✅ Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and SENCO. ✅ Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and harassment-free learning environment. Requirements: Previous experience as an LSA, Teaching Assistant (TA), or similar role in a primary school setting. Experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable. A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach to working with children. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Why Join Us?
