About the role
* Gain valuable knowledge and experience of:
o UK Offshore Wind Energy Market
o Engineering challenges and commercial considerations on a development project
o Project Development
o The construction for an Offshore Wind Farm
* Actively support the team by:
o Preparing weekly and monthly reports as well as decision proposals
o Acting as coordinator between various disciplines
o Standardization on processes
o Facilitating gate approval
Job requirements and experience
* You are an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses: Civil, Mechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering
* Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement
* You are on track to graduate with a 2.1 or higher
* You have very good verbal and written communication skills
* You can coordinate your own workload and meet tight deadlines
* You are comfortable working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders
* You are open to travel to other sites if needed (travel expenses covered)
* Motivation is crucial; your cover letter should explain why you are a suitable candidate for this opportunity
* Salary: £24.5k per year with a generous employee pension scheme
