We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Class 2 driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of pallets & parcels to various customers. This role is crucial in ensuring that our clients receive their products on time while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Duties Operate a curtain sided Class 2 vehicle for the transportation of goods to various locations. 0200-0600 Starts Monday - Friday 5-10 deliveries per day, handball involved but client will often assist with delivery Possible nights out with night out premium of £25 Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while adhering to road safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. Load and unload cargo, using tail lifts and pump trucks ensuring that it is secured properly for transit. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Follow all company policies and procedures related to commercial driving. Requirements Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence is essential. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role. Familiarity with tail lift/curtain sided lorries and their operation is preferred. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members effectively. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on the road. You must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence with 1 year experience and have no more than 6 penalty points and have no CD, DD, TT, IN or DR codes.
