An exciting opportunity has arisen for our manufacturing client in Newcastle under Lyme for a Technical Sales Advisor to join a leading national manufacturer and supplier of niche and bespoke specialist products. You will be joining an existing Sales team, and this would be the perfect position for a proactive and motivated individual. The Technical Sales Advisor will have the opportunity to be involved with projects of various sizes, by providing quotes to customers and supporting with closing the sale.
Duties for the Technical Sales Advisor:
1. Working with local businesses in various sectors to support projects
2. Producing written quotes using the in-house CRM system and sending these over to the customers, ensuring the quotes are 100% accurate at all times
3. Ensuring customer receipt of the quotation
4. Providing technical and sales advice by telephone and email where required
5. Supporting the closing of the sale
6. Keep in touch with customers to close the orders and update notes with project progress on the CRM system
Requirements for the Technical Sales Advisor role:
7. Excellent sales negotiation skills
8. Experience within a similar role
9. Must have experience of the tender process and be able to read through bills of quantities and tender documents
10. The ability to interpret drawings is an advantage
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
12. Strong time management skills to work within a fast-paced role
13. Microsoft Office skills and experience using in-house systems
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Salary: £26,000 Per Annum
