M&A and Contracts Specialist - UK Home Based - ARD1075033
Purpose of the Role
This exciting remote based opportunity has arisen to join our Counterparty Contracts team who have an expanding portfolio so there are exciting opportunities and challenges now and upcoming.
As a team we deal with management and administration of Carrier and Agent/Introducer contracts i.e. Terms of Business Agreements (ToBAs), Delegated Underwriting Authorities (DUAs) and Sub-Delegated Underwriting Authorities (SDUAs).
When we acquire a business, you will be responsible for ensuring that the acquired business transfers to the new legal entity seamlessly. You will focus on planning and executing all aspects of delivery and integration, ensuring all relevant contracts are in place and providing MI to key stakeholders.
What you will do
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more.
* Oversee M&A integration including attending working group and integration planning meetings which will involve stakeholders from various departments across the entire business.
* Provide and present relevant MI to project sponsors and the wider project working group.
* Take responsibility for the smooth integration of M&A contracts and undertake gap analysis of existing contracts.
* Liaise with internal departments for the onboarding of potential new markets and issue novations/addendums/variations to existing contracts if required.
* Ensure prompt and clear distribution of communications to third parties in respect of acquisitions.
* Identify and refer potential risks to the business through ongoing due diligence and identification of process improvements.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking someone with previous experience in an insurance role who is an organised and motivated individual with a keen eye for detail. We need someone confident who demonstrates gravitas as you will be regularly communicating and influencing key stakeholders including internal and external board level executives. You will be proactive, focused with a positive customer services attitude, whilst being able to work under pressure and demonstrate integrity and assertiveness. You must have the ability to use your initiative, be adaptable and resourceful.
