Job Summary
Ace Play Ltd is a playground design, manufacturing, maintenance and installation company based in the Wrexham area. We are seeking a talented and innovative 2D / 3D Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in 2D and 3D modelling and design, with proficiency in various software tools. This role involves creating detailed 2D and 3D models, visualisations, and schematics that contribute to our projects' success across multiple disciplines. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with our team to bring concepts to life, ensuring accuracy and aesthetic appeal.
Responsibilities
* Develop and produce high-quality 2D and 3D models using software such as Sketchup, SolidWorks, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and NavisWorks.
* Create detailed schematics and visual representations for various projects.
* Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and translate them into effective 2D and 3D designs.
* Conduct regular reviews of designs to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
* Assist in the preparation of presentations and visual materials for client meetings.
* Maintain an organised library of design files and documentation for easy access by team members.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in 2D and 3D design technology.
Experience
* Proven experience as a 2D and 3D Designer or similar role within the industry.
* Proficiency in 2D and 3D modelling software including but not limited to Sketchup, SolidWorks, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and NavisWorks.
* Strong understanding of CAD principles and practices.
* Ability to build complex structures in a virtual environment while paying attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* A portfolio showcasing previous work is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of the Play Industry is desirable but not essential as guidance and support will be provided. A willingness to learn and desire to help grow the company is essential.
