Finance Manager Location: Worksop - Hybrid Contract: 14-month fixed-term contract Hours: Full-time Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 About the Role Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to be working with a leading client who is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a 14-month fixed-term contract. As the Finance Manager, you will lead a team in providing management accounting and business partnering support across the UK&I businesses, ensuring that financial controls are met and providing valuable commercial insights to key stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you’ll oversee core accounting functions while driving efficiency, process improvements, and fostering a collaborative and performance-driven team culture. Key Responsibilities Lead the banking function and manage the end-to-end company credit card process, ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements. Provide business partnering support, offering commercial assistance to various UK&I businesses, helping them to achieve financial goals. Oversee the production of monthly SG&A accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring resource allocation supports business objectives. Manage the National Statistics process, ensuring accurate reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversee Month-End Compliance processes, including balance sheet reconciliation reviews and ensuring that minimum financial controls are maintained. Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring effective performance management, recruitment, coaching, and support for team members. Ensure robust documentation of accounting policies and processes to maintain strong internal controls. Essential Skills and Knowledge A qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, or actively working towards qualification. Strong Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace skills. Proven experience in management accounting, financial control, and business partnering in a fast-paced environment. Ability to solve complex accounting issues while considering the wider business impact and identifying process improvement opportunities. A solid understanding of financial controls and compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Desirable Skills & Knowledge Experience managing and leading a finance team, with a focus on recruitment, coaching, and performance management. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA would be an advantage.
