Quantum Dice is one of Oxford University’s spinout successes. We are an award-winning quantum hardware company which enables trusted and secure encryption using the power of photonics and quantum mechanics. Backed by VCs and government funding, Quantum Dice generated significant customer traction across various sectors from hardware encryption and satellite communications to simulations. Quantum Dice is hiring a Cryptographic Engineer to work on the development and implementation of cryptographically secure hashing algorithms for all Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) products. The successful applicant will be working alongside the quantum physics team as well as hardware, firmware and software engineers on developing the electronic back-end powering the world’s first compact source-device independent source of entropy. Deep knowledge of entropy generation and testing, as well as cryptographically secure hashing procedures is necessary. Requirements Research and analyse cryptographically secure hashing algorithms for random number extraction Research side-channel attacks Assist with cryptographic standards Assist in API development for integration into the cryptographic stack Ability to learn quickly and in a proactive manner Experience with hardware development would be beneficial Benefits Everyone likes different stuff – that's why we offer benefits tailored to your needs.
