The Real Wrap Co is a fast-paced food to go manufacturer. We have been placed on the fast-track top 100 companies for the past 3 years for growth, hitting a run rate of £32M turnover. We plan to grow to £50M in the next 2 years JOB PURPOSE As part of the production and material planning team. You will cost effectively plan production and the delivery of raw materials. Maintaining agreed inventory levels of finished goods and raw materials and ensuring customer service is not compromised whilst minimising waste. RESPONSIBILITIES Forecast finished product demand by SKU, by day over a rolling 12 weeks and by week over a rolling 12-months for the RWC business. Report on forecast accuracy. Create and manage the frozen production plan Manage on-site and offsite frozen stockholding of raw materials and finished goods and the storage costs relating to those. Create the daily assembly production schedule. Review and report on attainment to schedule and attainment to plan Lead a weekly planning meeting keeping the business update with upcoming activity. Create the daily cooking plans, preparation plans and defrost plans. Action and effectively communicate to all stakeholders any changes to plans and schedules. Stock management of all Ingredients and packaging on site, in off-site storage and at the supplier Issue orders to suppliers and make sure inbound materials are scheduled to meet production demand. Updating systems daily ensuring the accuracy of information used to place orders of inbound raw materials. Ensure production schedules are deliverable from raw material availability perspective. Proactively maintain supplier relationships in line with company values and beliefs. Daily review of goods destroyed and stock at risk reports to minimize waste. Monitor and maintain departmental Key Performance Indicators and report upon as needed. Assist in developing company systems and business processes. Provide support for other areas of the business as required. The above details will be subject to changes to suit the needs of the business. Essential Experience and Skills: Knowledge of production planning and stock control is desirable but not essential Advanced working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP formulas, pivot tables, etc) Strong communicator A resilient character A good problem solver Is accurate and has an attention to detail Flexible Process driven Core Working Days Monday to Friday – 08:00 to 17:00 Reports to Purchasing Manager
