About the job Salary: £51,802 to £54,924 per year plus £3,203 car benefit allowance Hours per week: 37 Contract type: Permanent We're seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Commissioning Manager to lead on designated large scale commissioning initiatives and strategies in relation to our older persons services and/or working age services for the Population Wellbeing department. To be able to actively engage with diverse communities, service users and stakeholders at every stage of the commissioning cycle. This is a critical and key role working proactively with health and social care partners as well as the community sector. Applicants for this role will need to be able to meet work demands, targets and deadlines and also have the ability to manage staff and budget responsibilities. About you We are looking for an exceptional Commissioning Manager with a strong understanding of the commissioning cycle and a proven track record of delivering successful commissioning projects. To be able to lead and have oversight of our complex programmes, performance management and assuring delivery of effective services for Luton residents. You'll be a skilled leader with the ability to motivate and inspire teams and a strong communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders. You will be expected to manage, lead and developboth specific and cross cutting commissioning intentions and implementation plans, creating innovative service pathways and services that meet national and local objectives and outcomes.
