We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team at Castle Douglas Community Hospital as a Business Support Assistant.
Day to day duties would include: an element of reception cover, fielding telephone calls, preparing casenotes for scanning, inputting SSTS/e-rostering, stores ordering, assisting the senior charge nurse with typing letters and reports, managing room bookings, general admin tasks, maintaining financial records/cash handling and banking, supporting MDT within the community hospital, recording admission and discharge statistics using the in-house system, and record keeping.
You will be part of a team that provides a very important and high-quality standard service. You will be working within a high-performing, creative, and supportive environment.

* The ability to stay calm under pressure and during emergency situations.
The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic, proactive attitude and be able to demonstrate a record of successful delivery.
