Multi-Site Health & Safety Manager
Location: South Yorkshire / UK Wide travel
Contract Duration: 3-months initial contract
Rates: £350.00 - £380.00 per day (Limited Co.)
IR35 Status: Outside IR35 suitable
Industry: Heavy Engineering installations / Process plant / materials handling / Drivetrain
We are working with a key client who is a heavy material, process handling & capital equipment engineering and installation company, based out of Yorkshire. We are recruiting for an experienced Site H&S Specialist / Manager for a minimum of a 3-month contract on major process site upgrades, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
* Overseeing all H&S aspects on key project installs and site contractors to ensure H&S processes & procedures are being met.
* Running audits, including reporting and documentation.
* Ensuring H&S project deliverables are being met.
* Reporting H&S issues to the Project Manager & Construction Director.
* Implementing corrective solutions and resolutions – being a problem solver.
* Checking all RAMs, Permits, and related paperwork for proper administration and filing.
* Leading health and safety behaviours and culture.
* Developing new ideas to streamline company site procedures.
* Operating nationwide.
Qualifications:
* Experience on multi-million pound project engineering installs.
* NEBOSH general certificate / Site safety passport.
* Formal engineering qualifications.
* First Aid certification.
* Flexibility to travel UK wide depending on project/site requirements.
