Release Analyst - control & governance Contract Type: 18-month Fixed Term Location: Milton Keynes. Happy to work remotely anywhere in the UK. Must have release experience (using Waterfall, but moving to Agile), strong understanding of the Project Life Cycle and strong project support experience. Must have control and governance experience A new exciting opportunity has become available seeking a seasoned Release Analyst to oversee the Control Room operations, ensuring all processes are executed with precision and in compliance with SLAs. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our control systems and requires a deep understanding of Robotics Process Automation (RPA). Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Control Room Management: Own the operation of the Control Room, ensuring all scheduled processes are executed accurately and on time. Modify schedules to maintain continuity during outages. Mentorship: Guide and transfer knowledge to Control Developer II, enhancing their skills within the Control Room environment. Collaboration: Work closely with Software Developers to integrate new processes while maintaining system integrity. Engage with business and technology teams to develop and refine business processes. Reporting and Compliance: Generate and distribute monthly management information with high accuracy. Conduct bi-annual health checks with RPA clients and report findings to leadership. Process Development: Analyze, modify, and develop complex processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and security regulations. Leadership Support: Assist leadership in enforcing business application standards and controls. Provide billable hours and resource estimates on projects. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 4 years with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge in RPA specifics (Blue Prism, Advanced Excel, Visual Basic, HTML) Problem Solving: Ability to resolve a wide range of issues creatively and effectively. Communication: Excellent communication skills for mentoring and collaborating with various teams. Leadership: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and leading projects.
