We’reseeking an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join a brand-new nurserylaunching soon in Newark on Trent. The nursery has been designed with anatural, sustainable approach, featuring an earthy wooden interior that bringsthe outdoors inside and fosters a calm, inviting space. This environment iscrafted to help children feel at home, encouraging them to express themselvesfreely, explore, play, and nurture their creativity.
Everydetail has been chosen to create a safe, child-friendly setting that supportshands-on learning and play, enabling children to mirror their routines fromhome and feel truly comfortable.
As a DeputyManger you will:
* You'll play a key role in leading a new team alongside the nursery manager in day to day operations.
* Lead and support staff, conduct observations, and training.
* Oversee activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
* Enforce safety and safeguarding policies.
* Act as a key contact for parents, providing updates and addressing concerns.
* Help plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities within the curriculum.
* Manage records, schedules, and resources.
You will need:
* A full and relevant level 3 (or above) childcare qualification
* Proven experience managing or leading in an Early Years/Nursery environment with a coaching approach to developing a team of staff
* Comprehensive knowledge of the EYFS Framework
* Proven experience and evidence of improving performance
* The ability to build strong, nurturing relationships with all stakeholders
* A passion for childcare and child development
