The Surgery & Anaesthetics Care Group is responsible for the running of all theatres across EKHUFT as well as the provision of Trauma, Orthopaedic, Urology, Vascular, Pain and General Surgery Services for East Kent; including Critical Care, Presurgical Preparation and Perioperative Services.

The role of the Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work as a team member within the Critical Care Unit (CCU) environment carrying out assigned tasks involving the direct/indirect care of patients in support of, and supervised by, a registered nurse.
