As an eLearning Content Designer, you’ll become a vital part of our People Development team, working to shape the growth and success of our employees. You'll play a crucial role in enhancing our induction and development platform, launched in February 2023. Reporting directly to the People Development Manager, you'll create engaging and impactful content that empowers our workforce to reach their full potential.
What You'll Do:
* Develop innovative and engaging eLearning content, including videos and infographics.
* Understand our diverse workforce and create solutions that resonate with their needs.
* Tackle the challenge of engaging our Operations teams, who have limited desk-time, with creative content that connects.
Key Responsibilities
Videography:
* Filming and photography projects for the following stakeholders:
* People Development - Machine Training Videos
* Events - Leadership Conference annual event
* Marketing - social media and marketing campaigns
Content Design and Management:
* Create our thyssenkrupp Materials UK content suite that aligns with our learning and business objectives, consisting of specific eLearning modules, infographics, animations, videos, and curated pathways using free online resources.
Building Relationships:
* Work closely with the People Development Manager to ensure all development updates are delivered effectively and in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) across the business to identify needs and implement impactful learning solutions.
Platform Engagement:
* Continuous platform review considering user experience, engagement levels, content, and assigned learning completion.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
About you:
* Proven experience creating accessible and user-centred eLearning.
* Experience working with different modalities of digital virtual-based learning.
* Strong understanding of using the right style, pace, and tone for your audience.
* Experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS) and/or Learning Experience Platform (LXP).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to understand and organise complex information quickly and clearly.
* Experience managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.
* A detail-oriented self-starter with exceptional prioritisation and organisation skills.
* Comfortable asking for and using feedback on their work.
* Solid working knowledge of MS applications.
* 2+ years of experience working in a digital development environment.
* CIPD or equivalent L&D training delivery qualification.
* Proficient in using Adobe Suite or equivalent.
* Experience working with psychometrics.
