Job purpose
As the Key Account Director for T&D, you will focus on growing revenue, finding new business opportunities, and driving market penetration within your accounts. Sales is NielsenIQ’s growth engine, which is instrumental for the company’s success.
You will drive the overall sales, renewals, and commercial EBITDA in your scope; you will secure a sustainable sales pipeline by developing new revenue opportunities while maintaining close customer relationships for existing accounts.
Key accountabilities
1. Drive sales, renewals, and overall growth of your accounts, securing sustainable and long-term pipeline revenue opportunities; drive commercial EBITDA while keeping an accurate forecast and maintaining C-suite customer relationships.
2. Develop a strategic understanding of customers' industry/business/markets/clusters.
3. Develop and execute against a comprehensive customer strategy.
4. Partner with Customer Success and other relevant functions to define strategic Account Plans and JBPs and remove roadblocks for smooth sales operations.
5. Drive a strategic action plan to tackle Voice of the Customer feedback.
6. Cross-sell and upsell to new clients and new personas across the full NIQ portfolio.
7. Seek strategic expansion of customer network and strategic alliances to unlock new budget holders.
8. Ensure proactive alignment of NielsenIQ value proposition to customers' needs and trends.
9. Utilise commercial and customer KPIs to drive revenue and increase pipeline.
10. Develop a positive working environment where success and achievements are recognised and celebrated.

Qualifications
1. Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a high growth business.
2. Experience in the Tech and Durables (electronics, telecom) industry preferable.
3. BA/BS degree required. 7+ years of business consulting or sales or business development.
4. Minimum of 5 years of people management experience.
5. Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills.
