Key Accountabilities
1. Design and develop our packaging and pack finishes.
2. Support factory trials, ensuring packaging solutions are fit for purpose.
3. Attendance at print trials for all Innovation led projects and changes.
4. Packaging input and responsibility for technical aspects such as sizing, colour and finishes into artwork process.
5. Regulatory packaging data gathering requirements + submissions across UK, France + Germany.
6. Communicate packaging progress for each project via the monthly Board Reviews, highlighting risks and issues as appropriate.
About You:
We are seeking an experienced Packaging Technologist. Additionally, the following are requirements for the role:
1. Experience of delivering new packaging solutions in partnership with a manufacturing team across filling lines including bottling and wipes.
2. Proficient use of IT systems (MS Project).
3. Experience of working with brands in an FMCG environment.
4. Strong problem solver with the ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast moving environment.
5. Commercial acumen with a sound understanding of business and different functions with regard to the delivery of NPD.
6. Creative, logical and curious generating innovative packaging solutions to brief.
7. A good planner and organiser, able to bring together and reconcile a complex matrix of information to enable sound decision making.
