12-Month Fixed Term Contract – Full Time (Shift Pattern with Evening until 8pm & Weekend work)
Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer outcomes? Do you have experience in financial underwriting and a commitment to ensuring compliance with industry standards? If so, we want you to join our dynamic team as a Lending & IKEA Support Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
As a Lending & IKEA Support Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our multi-skilled Operations team, working directly with new and existing Ikano customers, third party brokers, and retailers. Your role will involve providing support across multiple channels including phone, email, SMS, and web forms. You'll be making key lending decisions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and resolving customer queries efficiently.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Make sound financial lending decisions in line with Ikano’s policies and lending criteria.
* Provide excellent customer service via inbound/outbound calls, email, and other digital platforms.
* Act as the first point of contact for customers and retailers, handling escalated cases.
* Ensure compliance with FCA guidelines and deliver a seamless customer journey.
* Support vulnerable customers and handle complaints when necessary.
* Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory standards.
What will you bring to the role:
* Proven experience in financial/judgmental underwriting.
* Knowledge of FCA regulations, Data Protection, and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles.
* Strong digital communication skills across email, SMS, and web forms.
* Ability to build rapport, handle complex customer queries, and deliver positive outcomes.
* Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
