Location: Office Base is London, Newcastle or Salford. This is a hybrid role.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will take ownership of delivering actionable insights within your area, working closely with teams across the business to support key strategic projects and day-to-day decision making.
Main Responsibilities
Working within the Product Analytics team you will:
1. Build a clear understanding of our audiences’ experience and needs to guide product design and development.
2. Work closely with product managers, engineers and business analysts, championing data and collaborating on solutions.
3. Develop and mentor members of the wider team.
4. Support decision making across the Product Group by gaining a broad understanding of our Product portfolio.
5. Build and maintain dashboards and reports to facilitate data-led decision making.
6. Support experimentation by working with product and engineering teams to set up experiments and analyse results.
7. Proactively look for opportunities to optimise audience experience and drive engagement.
8. Work to improve and shape our data analysis capabilities through automating data pipelines.
9. Advocate for the value of data in driving effective decision making.
Are you the right candidate?
Essential skills required are:
1. Significant experience in an analytical role, preferably in digital products.
2. Excellent data visualisation skills and experience with tools such as Tableau.
3. Working knowledge of how digital products use experimentation and experience analysing results of A/B tests.
4. Advanced SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
5. Proactive self-starter, focused on working strategically.
6. Proven ability to mentor and develop others.
7. Excellent time management skills.
8. A focus on collaboration and thrives working as part of a cross-functional team.
Desirable skills are:
1. Knowledge of R or Python.
2. Experience working with on-demand audio media products.
3. Familiarity with agile or rapid application development methods.
4. Experience with Data Science & Machine Learning.
5. Understanding of data pipelines and/or data modelling.
6. Experience with Optimizely integrations and tooling.
