Deal Tree Health Centre, in Brentwood, is looking for a part-time, enthusiastic p rescription clerk/pharmacy assistant to join our friendly and busy dispensary team for 25 hours a week. Days/times are as follows: Monday: 9am-6:30pm, Tuesday: 8:30am-6:00pm and Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm. The main responsibilities of the role will include: Provide a responsive repeat prescription service ensuring all requests are processed accurately and efficiently within a 3-5 day timeframe and following protocol. Process repeat prescription requests via the online system, slips, post or by phone. Deal with queries over the counter and on the telephone in a timely manner. Follow protocols for end of day closedown procedures, counting scripts and entering figures onto SystmOne. Respond to enquiries/requests from patients, carers, secretaries, administrators or GP’s in a courteous, timely and efficient manner. M aintain precise records of the communications. Generate requests for medication on behalf of patients for non-repeat items. Please see job description for further details.
