With previous experience from the NHS or private care, you will oversee and provide high-quality care and support to people in a Neurological setting, while supporting your team and colleagues and promoting good teamwork.
As a Charge Nurse, you’ll lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care and delivery of clinical services, ensuring the day-to-day operations of your unit are performing well. You'll also:
* Delegate nursing tasks to Nurses working in the unit and coordinate with other teams
* Monitor service users’ conditions and respond to changes
* Supervise other members within the team's unit and provide guidance and support
* Make critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation
* Be a liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, with effective communication and collaboration
No two days will be the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.
