We are looking for Residential Children's Support Workers and Seniors to join a well-established residential childcare provider in Prescot. This organisation also offers supported living services and education, ensuring young people have a stable, nurturing, and supportive environment to thrive. What Youll Do: Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting Help young people develop essential life skills, emotional resilience, and positive relationships Manage and support young people displaying challenging behaviours, using de-escalation techniques and a trauma-informed approach Engage in activities, promote education, and encourage personal growth Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of all young people in the home Work collaboratively as part of a team, following care plans and organisational policies What Were Looking For: Experience working with younger children, i.e. within a nursery or a primary school setting A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential A full UK driving licence (Essential applications from non-drivers will not be considered) A willingness to work 2 on, 4 off shifts (including sleep-ins after each shift) A strong sense of empathy, resilience, and commitment Whats on Offer?
