We are working with one of the leading educational tour operators. They are an ambitious business with many award-winning brands and are now looking for someone to join their team that specialises in creating inspiring sporting and study events for students.
Event Operations Coordinator - what will I be doing?
You will collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver exceptional events and ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities include planning logistics, booking venues, arranging accommodations and transport, and managing on-site event execution.
Event Operations Coordinator - What experience do I need?
* You will need proven customer service experience, but our client is happy to look at a junior recent graduate who would like to be trained up into the role if they have a passion for this kind of industry.
* You will need strong problem-solving and time management skills.
* Excellent communication skills
* Commercial and financial awareness
* Proficiency in Excel
* Adaptable and flexible
* Knowledge of the school travel market would be a real advantage.
* Experience in group tour operations would be desirable.
* Understanding of sporting events
* French language skills - not essential
