About the role:
Welcome to the dynamic world of BYD! We are seeking a Business Specialist within our new vehicle supply operations team to be a vital part of our growing team within the BYD family.
As a member of the passenger car division, you will play a key role in propelling our expansion and solidifying our presence in the UK, providing our retailer partners with industry-leading service levels and customer excellence at the front of everything we do daily.
The position is office-based in Uxbridge in West London and will report to our business planning department team leader, working within the vehicle operations team.
With the recent launch of our new vehicles last year, we anticipate thrilling growth during 2025 and beyond.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Responsible for maintaining vehicle data within our inventory management system, ensuring accurate and regular updates.
* Execute vehicle allocation to new orders to support our dealer network and fleet customers, which includes some of the most well-known UK business household brands.
* Liaise with colleagues in Retail Sales and Fleet Sales to instruct cars to be prepared for delivery to our dealer partners and direct sales partners efficiently in advance of dispatch.
* Match vehicle orders to stock to ensure we supply the required vehicles.
* Review stock age to ensure we monitor.
* Request vehicle delivery nationwide with our UK supplier partners.
* Ensure retailer partners enjoy best-in-class service from BYD.
* Request our finance team to raise and issue invoices to fleet customers and retailer partners.
* Generate weekly reports for the Operations Manager.
* Work closely with all other BYD departments to ensure class-leading service levels at all times.
* Ad-hoc tasks arranged by line manager.
* Assist with process and IT system development requirements.
What are we looking for?
* 2+ years of experience in vehicle order to delivery, whether within a dealer group, fleet/rental, or OEM background.
* Ability to handle and process/understand data/forecast/planning.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel).
* Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
* Enjoys working as part of a team making a positive effect.
* Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.
* An automotive background such as new vehicles national sales company or large dealer group is a bonus.

* Office-based role (4 days a week/1 day working from home) in BYD's new state-of-the-art and modern offices in Uxbridge, Middlesex, West of London (please ensure your daily commute is manageable before applying).
