Part Time Receptionist / Switchboard Operator
Location: Northampton
Salary: From £23,605 per annum, pro rata
Hours: 21.00 per week including the shifts times below on a mixed rota shift pattern
Rolling 2-week rota:
1. Week 1: Monday / Tuesday / Friday / Saturday and Sunday 1pm - 7pm
2. Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday 1pm until 7pm

St Andrew’s Healthcare Security Department is looking to recruit a Receptionist to work within the Northamptonshire site. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and able to take control of difficult situations in a professional manner. You will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be smart and presentable, and work well in a team.
You will be the face of the charity and be stationed in the reception meeting and greeting all visitors to the site, as well as controlling access for all staff. Access control will also involve taking charge of issuing keys and alarms as well as several remote intercom systems. You will also be responsible for the operation of the local switchboard system and for the prompt communication of emergency incidents.
The ability to work under pressure is essential. You will be required to multitask throughout the day, to cover all reception duties and provide a professional and effective switchboard/reception service. Additional duties include post sorting, general administration duties including typing and collating of reports, photocopying, and laminating.
