Help us make a difference to people with life-limiting illnesses…
Full Time – 37.5 hours
Contrary to the belief that Hospices are sad, depressing, and upsetting places to work, this is certainly not the case here at St Andrew’s Hospice. We offer a warm, friendly, and nurturing environment where our workforce is at the heart of everything we do, in striving to make each day enjoyable for everyone.
This role requires a very special person who wants to make a real difference. Working with a fabulously friendly team in a role that gives you job satisfaction, flexibility and fun. Our Charity Fundraiser and Events Co-ordinator role is one with variety, creativity and is full of wonderful experiences.
The role works in a wider fundraising / income generation / marketing and communications team reporting to the Head of Fundraising Operations and is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of key fundraising activities and relationships of the hospice including corporate and community fundraising, individual giving, legacies, the hospice’s lottery, and events.
Although fundraising experience would be preferred, the role would also suit a range of backgrounds including business development, sales, marketing and customer service; please see the job description for more information, training will be given.
As this role can work external to the hospice, a full driving licence and access to a car is essential
From the role’s line manager: “I am looking forward to welcoming the successful candidate into this incredibly interesting role. If you like being busy, achieving something every day, meeting people from all walks of life and having a role with variety and job-satisfaction then I would welcome your application”.
