Positions available in our Harrogate North Community Team
Are you looking for a nursing position based in a community team within some of Yorkshire's most stunning surroundings? We welcome adult staff nurses, newly qualified nurses, students, and return-to-practice nurses interested in delivering high-quality care in various community settings.
We collaborate with a range of professionals to ensure excellence in care and are proud to be part of the Harrogate and Rural Alliance.
Our clients have complex needs, and our service operates every day of the year to provide the best care. We offer flexible shift patterns between 7am - 8pm.
Reported as ‘outstanding’ in our last CQC inspection, we are committed to high-quality, innovative care in the comfort of patients' homes. No two days are the same, and our supportive management team values staff wellbeing and development.
Our Community Nurses are offered:
* A comprehensive induction including a community welcome pack

* Funded NMC fees for newly qualified nurses in the first year
Main duties of the job
* Provide high standards of nursing care within the Integrated Care Team
* Plan, implement, and evaluate care episodes
* Organise workload and delegate tasks when necessary
* Conduct nursing assessments, diagnoses, and treatments appropriately
* Perform generic assessments on behalf of the team

Person specification
Education, Qualifications and Training
* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
* Diploma/Degree in Nursing or related field
Experience
* Post-registration clinical experience
* Community nursing experience
Personal Qualities
* Understanding of HDFT's values
* Ability to drive and access transport, as community-based role requires
