Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Legionella Risk Assessor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Legionella Risk Assessor, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out legionella risk assessments manually and electronically.
2. Ensure that risk assessment paperwork and reports are completed correctly and returned.
3. Carry out other operational work from time to time to ensure contractual commitments are met.
4. Undertake legionella risk assessments in accordance with:
1. Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition).
2. Technical guidance documents of HSG274.
3. British standard code of practice for Risk assessing BS#removed#.
4. Health Technical Memorandum 04-01: Safe Water in Healthcare Premises.
Requirements:
1. City and Guilds Risk Assessing course (or equivalent) and experience in Legionella risk assessing.
2. A wide knowledge of the above risk assessment guidelines as well as sufficient experience in working in the water treatment industry and a strong knowledge of health and safety.
3. Commercially aware with good planning skills.
4. Strong IT literacy, the ability to use a PDA to evidence compliance and productivity, and the ability to draw schematic diagrams.
5. Full UK drivers' licence with less than 6 points.
6. Able to work as part of a team and under your own supervision.
