Monday : Friday + Plenty of overtime, 1 weekend in 4 with time off in the week

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and due to growth into various export markets they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimising downtime and improving long term machine reliability.
2. Execution of the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineers plan to work preventatively in addition to reactively.
3. Use of appropriate root cause analysis tools and 5S.
4. Actively support a culture of Continuous Improvement, looking at ways to engineer out persistent problems.
5. Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance.
6. Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
1. Formal Engineering Qualification: C and G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained.
2. Continuous improvement knowledge.
3. Strong knowledge of good engineering standards.
4. Experience in Engineering, manufacturing or production environments.
