Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join their dynamic family brokerage in Newcastle Upon Tyne area. This role involves managing a portfolio of existing commercial clients, providing expert advice, and ensuring they have the right insurance coverage tailored to their specific business needs. Key Responsibilities: Managing and servicing an existing portfolio of commercial insurance clients. Advising clients on suitable insurance products and coverage options. Liaising with insurers to negotiate terms and secure competitive quotes. Ensuring all client records and documentation are accurate and up to date. Providing exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships. Staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and insurance products. Offering valued advice, when clients are going through the claims process. Key Requirements: Experience in commercial insurance - ideally within a brokerage. Strong commercial insurance product knowledge, including but not limited to property, liability, fleet, and business interruption. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Cert CII qualification (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable but not essential.
