Our Financial Services team is at the heart of this, providing expert support across the university. As our Estates Procurement Services Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving procurement excellence, ensuring we deliver value-driven, sustainable solutions for our estates and facilities. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Procurement, you'll work closely with stakeholders to enhance procurement processes, develop strategic supplier relationships, and contribute to the efficient management of our university estate.

The Estates Procurement Services Manager will join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
Join us as the Estates Procurement Services Manager and lead the way in delivering exceptional procurement solutions. With a strong focus on Estates and Facilities Management, you'll ensure excellence across all our campuses, driving impactful results every step of the way.
Collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders, you'll offer expert strategic guidance, evaluate procurement needs, craft bespoke plans, and define clear service standards that drive successful outcomes.
In addition, you'll oversee tender processes, measure supplier performance against benchmarks, review contracts thoroughly, and ensure consistent delivery of exceptional value and service by suppliers.
Additionally, You Will
* Address procurement-related enquiries from external stakeholders with professionalism and efficiency.
* Utilise internal systems to analyse spend data, driving informed and strategic procurement planning.
* Play a key role in enhancing procurement systems, streamlining processes, and refining procedures for optimal performance.
About You
To be considered as an Estates Procurement Services Manager, you will need:
* In-depth knowledge of Public Sector procurement regulations, coupled with the ability to provide expert procurement guidance
* Proven track record in managing tendering processes and creating comprehensive tender documentation
* Skilled in drafting contracts and delivering procurement services with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
* Experience in data analysis, problem resolution, and producing clear, actionable reports
* Exceptional organizational skills to effectively plan and manage complex activities
* To be adept at building strong relationships and influencing positive outcomes
* Proficient in IT, with a solid command of Microsoft Office applications
* Proactive mindset with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
* Degree-level education with relevant experience and evidence of ongoing professional development, or part-qualified in a relevant professional qualification with appropriate experience.
