Spotify is seeking a communications Director to lead global consumer product & tech PR in an effort to drive strategic narratives around Spotify’s innovative products, features and integrations across music, podcasts and audiobooks. A successful candidate will have seasoned experience in the consumer tech space and the ability to set communications strategies that help educate and excite current and prospective Spotify users, influencers and the media. Experience in issue mitigation and crisis response is critical to the role, and the candidate must approach work with strong judgement and risk awareness in mind. The ideal candidate keeps the pulse of the tech landscape and has a deep understanding of the way technology has an impact on consumers and culture. The candidate should also have experience leading teams, with the guide and developing team members around the globe, but also roll up their sleeves and lead by example.
