Our client has a busy, small animal practice nestled in the town of Blackwood in the South Wales valley. They are now looking for a full or part-time small animal vet to join them.
The practice is well-equipped with fantastic facilities including x-ray, dental x-ray, dental machine, cat and dog waiting area and separate kennels, a theatre and prep area, 4 consult rooms, laparoscopic spay equipment, multi parameters/bp machine, ultrasound and idexx lab equipment.
This is a full or part-time position. Work-life balance is important to them therefore they are open to discussing working days/hours and there are no weekend or OOH requirements. Typically, the working hours are between 8.30am - 6.30pm. This role will entail all standard vet responsibilities including surgery and consults.
You will be joining a fantastic team of 5 vets, 8 registered veterinary nurses, 2 student nurses and 4 receptionists, supported by the practice manager. They strongly encourage the team to work towards certificates; they currently have 1 vet studying for a feline certificate and other cert holders across the group.
