We are looking for a Public Affairs Manager to join our Public Affairs team at Citizens Advice, working with colleagues to execute an organisational-wide public affairs strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the big issues facing people across England and Wales today, joining a directorate with a track record of achieving change. You ll work across a range of policy areas, leading, developing and delivering influencing strategies that will help us engage decision makers on key issues, and the solutions that could make a difference. Our strong brand will give you unique opportunities to engage with those who have the power to make change, and you ll help us deliver an organisational wide strategy to initiate and extend our opportunities to influence MPs and civil servants, regulators and industry bodies, on behalf of the people who rely on us. You ll have sound political judgement and a strong understanding of parliamentary processes that can be harnessed to raise awareness and generate support for our calls. You ll be experienced in influencing and communicating with stakeholders at all levels, with a strong network. You ll be confident in developing and executing strategies that help us have reach into government, and a strong and credible reputation, framing our arguments in a compelling and relevant way. You ll be familiar with advising colleagues on the current political climate and breaking developments, identifying influencing opportunities.
