Job Title: Interim Project Controller Location: Leeds (X2 days per week on site) IR35 Status: Inside Day Rate: £300 per day Duration: Initial 6 months Tierpoint Partners is pleased to offer an Interim Project Controller role with a multinational manufacturing company. This is an integral part of the Project Accounting team and will provide finance support across a portfolio of live UK projects with values from £500K to £15m. The successful candidate will be solely responsible for driving the financial performance of each project and will business partner with Programme Directors, Project Managers and the wide Site Operations teams to ensure accuracy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support pre-sales and tendering process as an SME as per the internal process to ensure proper financial review and risk mitigation pre-contract. Manage SAP month end closing for Project portfolio in line with IFRS. Escalate to Business Finance leader and Performance Controller pre close, any out of trend result. Facilitate Revenue & GM forecasting of projects through monthly & Rolling Forecast cycles. Manage cash performance and flag to the credit control team any identified issues. Responsible for sound Risk Management of projects & driving a risk management culture within the Zone. Support Operations through Business Partnering, participating in all Project Reviews in scope. Work alongside the Centre of Excellence to develop reporting and analysis KEY SKILLS Qualified Accountant Knowledge of Project Accounting Knowledge of Revenue Recognition (IFRS15) desirable Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate risk Strong business partnering skills with commercial mindset Ability to build trusted working relationships with non-finance stakeholders NEXT STEPS We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, so if you are available immediately or at short notice that would be desirable.
