Responsibilities
Under the guidance of experienced consultants, you'll:
1. Contribute to technical proposals, project delivery, and client presentations.
2. Conduct hands-on laboratory work, including high-voltage electrical testing and forensic examinations of equipment like transformers and switchgear.
3. Support site-based projects, witnessing electrical testing, investigating failures, and working in locations like solar parks, data centres, and wind farms.
4. Use your analytical skills in the office, performing finite element modelling, cable current rating calculations, and design reviews.
5. Travel up to 10-25% of the time to meet client needs and explore new challenges.
What We're Looking For:
1. A minimum 2:1 bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field.
2. A hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving.
3. A full UK driving licence (or actively working toward obtaining one).
Key Skills & Attributes:
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
2. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
3. A team player with an inquisitive mindset and a desire to learn.
