Job Description:
Were seeking a skilled and motivated Engine Overhaul Engineer with expertise in major engine rebuilds, from head to heart and bottom end. If youre driven by high standards and ready to work with state-of-the-art CHP systems, this role offers an excellent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Engine Rebuilds: Conduct comprehensive overhauls on engines, including head, heart, and bottom-end rebuilds, to restore engines to peak operational condition.
System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Maintain, diagnose, and repair CHP systems deployed in diverse settings, including manufacturing facilities, hospitals, airports, and residential buildings.
Engine Expertise: Work with engines from leading manufacturers, such as Rolls Royce MTU, Jenbacher, and MAN, ensuring reliability and longevity.
Technical Support and Customer Training: Provide technical support and training to customers, enabling them to operate and maintain their CHP systems with confidence.
System Upgrades: Collaborate with the engineering team to implement upgrades and modifications on existing systems to optimise performance.
Service Documentation: Maintain detailed service records and documentation to support accurate tracking and compliance.
Qualifications:
Technical Expertise: Proven experience as an engine rebuild, major maintenance or overhaul role, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering.
CHP and Gas Engine Knowledge: Familiarity with CHP systems, gas engines, and LV electrical troubleshooting; gas-safe certification is advantageous.
Problem-Solving and Detail Orientation: Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail in complex technical situations.
Communication Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to train and support customers.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel nationwide & stay away from home when needed.
