The successful candidate will join a team of 15 Luminal Gastroenterologists in a forward-thinking dynamic unit providing a full range of services for patients with Digestive Diseases. The post-holder will provide specialty input to the clinical nutrition, intestinal rehabilitation and intestinal/multivisceral transplant services as well as to the gastroenterology and endoscopy services.
You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those wishing to work flexibly for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.

Leadership is a key requirement of doctors' professional work and this innovative programme is designed to support Consultants to hone the leadership and management skills they need to succeed at CUH.
The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
