Academic achievement at Concord College is exceptional. During 2023-24, students achieved 89% 7-9 (A*/A) at GCSE and 73.8% A*/A at A level. We wish to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic full-time Teacher of Economics from January or April 2025.
The successful candidate will have the ability to teach Economics to both GCSE and A level students and help support those applying for Economics and related courses at university. A willingness to contribute to the broader life of the College is expected. This post would suit either teachers with the knowledge and experience to teach across KS4/5 or Early Career Teachers (ECT) who are looking for their first teaching position. Applications from candidates with a background in Finance or relevant industry experience will also be considered.
We offer a generous remuneration package which includes a salary significantly above Main Scale, duty payments, complimentary lunch, participation in the Aviva Pension Trust for Independent Schools and private health insurance. A separate payment may also be made if the applicant takes on a personal tutor role.
