The Role: To service, maintain & repair company fleet of diesel-powered compressors, steam generating plant, booster pumps, heat exchangers, fluid monitoring safety systems and ancillaries. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Maintain company equipment in line with company procedures and industry best practice. Fault find and investigate performance issues & repair in line with industry best practice. Pack and load out company equipment in line with company procedure and guidelines. Follow company HSEQ policy and identify areas for improvement. Interpret & compile job service cards to determine level of service and identify opportunities for engineering improvements. Work as part of a workshop engineering team to ensure equipment leaves the workshop compliant and fully tested ready for offshore operations. Who we are looking for: A flexible approach to working and be available for regular overtime to meet periods of high demand. Ability to supervise Trainees and Junior Technicians and freely impart knowledge & experience to develop our Inclusive One Team philosophy. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Level 3 S/NVQ City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification. Industry recognised training in hydraulics, rotating equipment, diesel engines. Time served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent. Full UK driving license. Essential experience: Mechanical maintenance & full strip down and repair of plant, industrial, marine and offshore systems. Able to interpret and understand engineering drawings and schematics. Knowledge of industrial or marine diesel engines & compressors. Maintenance and operation of pumps, valves, manifolds and hoses.
