To identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities for Brett Martin’s Plastic Sheet product range through proactive business development activities. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven 'hunter', focused on expanding our market presence and increasing sales revenue.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
* New Business Acquisition: Identify, engage, and convert new customers, expanding Brett Martin’s footprint in target markets.
* Market Expansion: Research and analyse market opportunities, develop entry strategies, and establish strong industry networks.
* Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, leveraging CRM tools to track and manage prospects through the sales cycle.
* Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.
* Sales Strategy Execution: Implement and refine business development strategies to drive sustainable growth and increase market share.
* Customer Engagement: Conduct regular meetings with prospective clients, presenting Brett Martin’s product range and value proposition.
* Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and market shifts, providing insights to refine sales strategies.
* Sales Forecasting: Develop and submit accurate sales forecasts and performance reports monthly.
* Collaborative Selling: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, scheduling, shipping and technical) to ensure smooth customer onboarding and delivery processes.
* Brand Promotion: Represent Brett Martin at exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and attract new business.
