The Process Quality Engineer is responsible for product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge. Requires developing a strong foundation of functional skills and knowledge of relevant technologies., The Process Quality Engineer will:
* Provide shop floor support for manufacturing
* Accountable for both quality assurance and quality control of products, manufacturing processes and outside vendor services
* Own gage and CMM validation and out of tolerance investigations
* Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
* Lead team in defining effective Root Cause Corrective Actions
* Lead investigation for Work Station Audit findings, Product Audit findings, and Customer Returns
* Support manufacturing engineering team to monitor and analyze process capability and define process improvement plans
* Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
* Strong understanding of QMS AS9100D or similar
* Work together with Rutland team across all levels of the organization
* Work on shop floor with operators to address quality issues
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
