MFL Teacher (German) – Full-Time – September Start – Levenshulme, Manchester
Teaching Personnel is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher, specialising in German, for a full-time position at a well-established and diverse secondary school in Levenshulme, Manchester. This Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school has an excellent reputation for academic standards and a supportive staff culture. The role will begin in September to cover a long-term absence. Pay will be in line with your teaching scale, depending on experience.
Role Overview:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured German lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Support student progress through effective assessment and feedback
* Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
* Promote a love of languages and an appreciation for cultural diversity
* Maintain excellent standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom
* Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular language activities or trips where relevant
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Have a degree in German or a related subject
* Be confident in teaching German at both KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* Be a strong classroom practitioner with good behaviour management skills
* Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education and high student achievement
* Be organised, proactive, and able to contribute to a collaborative team environment
